The 3 Rivers Shamanic Group was founded in 2008 and is now led by Julia Elliott
Julia Elliott has been offering shamanic healing and counselling work for the last twelve years. She is a member of the Core Shamanic Practitioner Circle, the London Open Drumming Group, and the International Shamanic Community - which is a network of small groups across the world for students of the Scandinavian Centre for Shamanic Studies taught by Jonathan Horwitz and Annette Host.
Julia has worked also with shaman teachers including Malidoma Some, from Burkina Faso, to develop ritual community work, and to work with or for the land and the elements. With Myron Eshowsky, USA, she studied conflict resolution, peace-making, and working with terminal illness. Alongside Betsy Bergstrom, USA, Julia studied the shamanic skills needed for compassionate deposession and curse unravelling.
Most recently Julia has spent time in East Siberia and Buratya working there with a local shaman in doing personal blessing, healing and purification rites for his local people.
